Job Summary

Hyperion Biotechnology is seeking a n Education and Training Technician to collect, analyze, and evaluate faculty record data, and make sound recommendations based on findings.  This position will support the Medical Education and Training Campus (METC) at Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston TX. agencies.

Minimum Requirements

  • Associate's Degree with 5 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to interface directly with a variety of METC program staff and Academic Affairs staff.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen

Responsibilities/Tasks

  • Inprocess/outprocess instructors. Develop and implement efficient processes to add and remove new/returning instructors from 48 programs in STARS-FD within five duty days of arrival to the school or within five days of removal from instructor duty.
  • Monitor instructors. Track and report instructional qualification in STARS-FD to IDD Associate Dean. Conduct thorough analysis of Internship reports, Instructor evaluations, Non-Instructor Duty reports, Subject Matter Testing scores, Instructor Methodology, and Equal In Lieu of Degree (EQILD) reports.
  • Provide technical guidance. Provide metrics and analysis system to the IDD Associate Dean, monthly on NDI, and Non-Instructor Degree (NID) status slides and reports. Provide briefings to the IDD Associate Dean, on mission essential areas affecting METC's ability to maintain qualified instructors.
  • Serve as trainer. Responsible for the monitoring, training and development for over 120 FAC POCs in their duties in managing the STARS-FD. Plan, coordinate and set the agenda for the FAC POCs during the monthly plan meetings.
  • Provide quality assurance. Study, analyze and develop methods to improve workflow and training problems while implementing improved methods and technology. Plan, coordinate and monitor the Faculty and Student Management program's progress. Evaluate the attrition rate of instructors placed on NID status and recommend corrective action.
