Job Summary

Hyperion Biotechnology is seeking an Instructor Trainer to work with the Faculty, Staff and Student Development Section (FS&SD) in a program that provides education and training services.  This position will support the Medical Education and Training Campus (METC) at Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston TX. agencies.

Minimum Requirements

  • Master's Degree with 10 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to interface directly with a variety of METC program faculty, staff and Academic Affairs staff.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen


  • Provide Instructor Trainer services to FS&SD. Serve as Instructor to METC faculty who provide college level instruction and curriculum. Serve as Instructor to faculty and staff in regard to the attainment of higher formal education degrees and certifications.
  • Develop and evaluate curriculum. Develop and revise courses to envelop new concepts and technology in curriculum delivery. Maintain manpower and logistical requirements needed to maintain an adequate training environment, meeting military and accreditation guidelines. Evaluate the attrition rate of METC students and recommend corrective action.
  • Initiate and provide consultation in the design and development of programs focused on properly delivering instruction based on approved critical objectives.
  • Monitor the latest techniques and strategies related to curriculum development to include the use of technology. Stay abreast of innovations in educational technology, concepts, techniques, and equipment as applied to military service school, civilian educational and industrial communities; by reading literature, attending graduate, postgraduate courses, seminars and educational institutions.
  • Plan and schedule student and staff briefings.
