Job Summary

Hyperion Biotechnology is seeking a Logistics Manager to support execution of property accountability management.  This position will support the Army National Guard United States Property and Fiscal Officer (USPFO) in Buckhannon, WV.

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma, Associate's degree preferred
  • Experience performing similar tasks
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint,
  • Must be able to pass a background check

Responsibilities/Tasks

  • Evaluate Units property books through researching the following: hand receipts, adjustment documents, all accountable records, and other property accountability document issues for the PBO.
  • Identify property accountability and visibility problem areas, determine required corrective action and provide information to the PBO on the findings of evaluations, reports, Reconciliations, and summaries.
  • Gain and maintain access to the Army's property accountability systems of record, GCSS-Army. Review, analyze and report any discrepancies related to Property Book Level transactions that affect the property books.  Run and review Daily Activity Register reports for all units within the organization, view and download supporting document attachments from within GCSS-Army to support filing system, verify accurate and timely posting of Nonexpendable procured equipment, perform Hand Receipt Maintenance to identify and direct corrections, pull and maintain asset visibility reports for real-time property management efforts.

 

  • Gain and maintain access to automated systems required to perform daily property management duties; DST, LIW, FMSWeb, AESIP, organization/MACOM portals. Become knowledgeable and provide professional advice IAW with regulatory guidance, local policy, and SOPs.  Use the various systems to analyze, forecast, and recommend movement of MTOE/TDA authorized equipment.  Become compliant with CTAs, TMs, and regulatory authorizations that govern procurement of equipment. 

 

  • Provide technical support for property accountability to include customer assistance, answering questions on property related issues, and resolving discrepancies on a daily basis.
  • Establish and maintain a signature card file (DA Form 1687 Delegation of Authority-Receipt for Supplies), to verify that the authorizing (requesting) official that signed the service request is the same name shown on an accepted DA Form 1687.
  • Generate and submit reports on equipment status, including but not limited to, delinquent hand receipt holders, and delinquent inventories, issues, receipts and turn-ins.
  • Receive, review, and verify that all equipment requests are complete, correct, and have proper approval and authorization.
  • Process requests for non-standard stock number, or stock numbers for which no authority exists, which have been approved by the Government. Contractor will use the systems: DST, G-Army, and all LIW counterparts to work requests daily.
  • Verify and process customer receipts for supplies and equipment IAW DA PAM 710-2-1 Chapter 5 and 6.2.1.10. Maintain suspense document file for all transactions within the property section.
  • Maintain Excel Spreadsheets and track status of all request ordered by the property section.
  • Work the Monthly Due In Reconciliation. This includes but is not limited to: pulling hand receipts, checking purchases made through Government Contracts and/or Government Purchase Card transactions, checking any due out items, running excess reports, and check property book alignments.
  • Track automation equipment issued to deploying units.
  • Maintain Request Control Logs and file by unit's control number and track on an Excel Spreadsheet on a daily basis.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly work area.
